Our Instructors & Staff Members

Our staff members have spent many years devoted to pursuing excellence in their field and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as instructors and trainers.

Through extensive training, certification and dedication, our staff has attained mastery in their fields and now enjoy sharing their skill and passing it on to our members. Here are a few of Club One Fitness's staff members:

Christen Cunningham   (Manager) 
Rodney James   (Boxing Instructor) 
Rodney has been with Club One Fitness since we first opened our Severna Park facility. Come in and see Rodney if you would like to compete as an amateur boxer, or if you would like individual boxing instruction. Whether you are looking to just train like a boxer and have never thrown a punch, or if you want to get in the ring and take it to the next level, Rodney can design a program to meet your personal fitness needs. He is available for personal, one-on-one boxing coaching for people who want to get the most out of their workouts at Club One Fitness."

Ghani Walee   (Personal Trainer)
Ghani Walee thoroughly enjoys training members with varying goals and ambitions. He has helped people achieve an assortment of goals such as weight loss, conditioning programs, and scores of male and female clothing and/or fitness models prepare for photo shoots and fitness expos. He believes that given the proper guidance, determination, and commitment, we all have the ability to achieve extraordinary goals."

Roger Leonard   (Boxing Coach)
Roger provides boxing fitness classes on Monday, Wednesday & Thursday Nights. His evening classes provide a full array of cardio, strength, coordination and muscle conditioning, as well as the skill work involved in the sport of boxing. "Roger is an experienced coach/trainer, brother of Olympic and former World Champion ?Sugar? Ray Leonard. I am available for personal coaching in addition to group class work."

Nick   (Personal Ttianer/Boxing Coach)
Nick runs Boxing Classes Monday through Fridays in the morning. He is also available for private presonal training and boxing instruction.

Kerri Galllaway

Kerri is a fixture in the Club One family. She began by working in the daycare over four years ago and now is quite the fitness professional. Kerri is hoping to start the nursing program at Anne Arundel Community College in the Fall. Kerri became a certified personal trainer in 2005 and then a certified Group Exercise instructor in 2006. Currently, Kerri teaches a Step & Tone class Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock. You can find Kerri in the club evenings, weekends, and Wednesday mornings!

Kathy Gleason

Kathy Gleason has been with the Club One Fitness family for five years. She is a membership coordinator and opens the club three days a week. Kathy enjoys working with the members to help them reach their fitness goals and if you ever have a question she'd love to help!  
Kathy has been married for 34 years and has two adult children. She is proud to say that she is a healthy, nine year Breast Cancer Survivor. As an avid exerciser, Kathy loves running and lifting weights, but can also be found taking a group exercise class from time to time. She has participated in the Annual Race for the Cure for the past 15 years in addition to various other races. For fun, Kathy loves to dance, travel, and spend time with her family.  In addition, she loves to spend time with her girlfriends, whom she refers to as the Golden Girls.  She often takes trips to New York to visit friends and family.  For relaxation, Kathy loves to take long walks and read mystery novels.
